The Moira is a charming and cozy B&B that takes you back in time, with modern amenities. The location is convenient, the rooms are spacious and clean, and the owner is friendly and helpful. Cons: I just loved everything so much, I wish I could have stayed longer!

I stayed at The Moira for five days on my first visit to Kolkata. The location is excellent, with easy access to transportation, great restaurants, and attractions. The room was spacious, clean, and comfortable, with all the amenities I needed. The private complex felt safe and was beautifully maintained. The hosts, Mehul and his family, were fantastic, going above and beyond to make my stay memorable. Highly recommended.

My stay was FANTASTIC here. The hotel was a great place for enjoying a central area, so close to Park Street and quest mall and all the happening pubs and the city area, where many of the tourist attractions are nearby. The location was marvellous, not too far from a historic cemetery. Superfriendly staff that liked their guests.

I recently had a wonderful stay at a charming bed and breakfast in Kolkata. The location of the property was perfect, as it was very close to Kolkata's vibrant Park Street. I loved the fact that famous restaurants and eateries were within a short 2 km range, making it convenient to explore the local culinary scene. The property itself was clean and provided a comfortable stay experience. I especially enjoyed the unique aspect of living with a family while still having my own private space. The hosts were incredibly hospitable, flexible with check-in and check-out, and even allowed me to leave my bags for a couple of days. They were also kind enough to help me with my laundry and gave great recommendations for sightseeing and dining options. The breakfast served was delicious and though simple, it catered to my preferences. I felt safe both in the room and walking around the area, which was well-lit. Despite minor interruptions in the WiFi connection, which occurred for 10-15 minute intervals, my overall experience was fantastic. I highly recommend this bed and breakfast to anyone visiting Kolkata. I had a memorable and comfortable stay at The Moira and would definitely recommend it to others.

Great staff, and the food was delicious! The room was spacious and nicely decorated, and the bed was so comfy with hypo-allergenic pillows. The view from the room overlooked the street. 😊

The breakfast selection could be improved by offering more options to choose from. Adding some Western options like bread and butter would be a nice addition.
